About Us

Hello friends my name is Eric Pinkel. My wife Kimberly and I our proud parents of four amazing children; Lulu, Rowen, India and Tristan. Each one of our kids has enjoyed the blessings that Jesus has poured into our lives and our familes. Gods calling for me has been to not only cherish them but to lead them, educate and equip them to carry God's spirt of love, light and word into this world.

I humbly suggest that the fruits of God's spirt reflect in our lives. We have been involved in Jesus’s student ministries on a journey at Kensington from K-Kids to Edge revealing the importance of his word and love in community with all the Kensington students.

I am also an assistant boy scout leader with Oxford Troop 366 now at Lakepoint Church. Again, i believe that God wants me to lead our young men and women to actualize their character of faith in our community. The Scout's support God's work and is symbolized in their oath and law and plays itself out in their motto and actions. Case in point. Rowen and I worked hard to ensure that Kensington was connected to Lakepoint church and the Oxford community to support them in the wake of the recent tragedy that hit home in our troop.

I feel that God is now calling me to co-lead our Edge youth and my son on Mission to the DR. I think its the next step in our journey to preparing our youth for God's great work.

I must tell you all this is, Kimberly and I struggled with the cost of this trip. We felt that for us it was impossible to raise 6000 dollars to make the trip possible. Jesse and Lizbeth, our Edge leaders, Ron Schaffner my DR mentor, Kendal, and Ben my 10th grade boys Edge co-leaders, Bob and our Legendary Lapeer men’s group and many others encouraged us to step out in faith because what seems impossible to me is completely possible for God.

Please consider supporting Rowen and I on mission to the Dominican Republic. Join us and the Kensington Edge youth to serve the Lord aboard with your financial contribution.
